I will dominate 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
